The latest version of VCarve Pro includes very significant enhancements. We have added support for importing and machining 3D models from other systems, and you can mix and match 3D and 2D machining strategies on the imported models. We have also added the ability to import and assemble Vectric 3D Clip Art and we are now including a set of 3D models (V3M format) in addition to the existing 2D clip art, with the new version.The clip art includes 70+ models from the Vector Art 3D website - http://www.vectorart3d.com. Each of these comes in three styles; A-Regular, B-Dished and C-Recessed, totalling 200+ models. These models alone would cost over US$2000 if purchased. All customers with V8 will be able to access their licence details, installation files and clipart files from the new web based Vectric Portal which is being introduced for this release. Over time, we plan to expand this facility to all customers and all products, but initially it will only be available for customers with Aspire 8 and VCarve Pro 8 who have followed the registration process in the emails they will receive.
