A mod for Doom II inspired by Brutal Doom, but this time 'brutalizing' Wolfenstein 3D by adding new weapons, enemies, textures, animations, and of course, gore. That's not all though - the maps from the original game are being redesigned too.
Wolfenstein 3D is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Apogee Software and FormGen. Originally released on May 5, 1992 for MS-DOS. Each episode features nine levels (or 'maps'), which must be finished sequentially. Levels are completed by reaching an elevator that leads to the next level.

Hey, guys. :) So this is an underwhelming first post. tl;dr: Friend showed me Zandronum a few years back. I'd used other source ports before then, but this one is my go-to since it's the most robust, yet stable of everything on the market. So, task at hand: I ran across Brutal Wolfenstein recently, and decided to download it. Seems like the latest version out there is 4.5. I've had luck running it off of GZdoom and base Zdoom, with my core problem being no sound other than music. Various changes do nothing, and even then, I can only load a basic synth plug for the MIDI. All others fail, and I can't get sound. I went to put it on Zandronum, but it doesn't work with the stable version, 2.1.2. I put it to the latest alpha that I use for PB, which gives me clean performance and all my sound. However, I find myself having a hard time with a video crash, almost every time I trigger an enemy. My summary output (consistently) is: Code: C0000005 (Access Violation - tried to write address 00000044) Address: 009974BE Crash log attached. What am I missing here?
